My group is Dillon, Brandon, and Andrew. We are doing poundmaker too. His real name is Pitikwahanapiwiyin. He was a political leader. He took part in the famine cluase. It is a thing were some people helped the natrives farm because they were over hunting the buffalo. He also was a very good hunter. He had this special ability to get buffalo to come to him. He had a song that made them come to him. they would catch them in a pound. ( A trap to catch buffalo)

Hey our names are Ryan and Lea! For the greatest aboriginal hero project we have been assigned to the hero Poundmaker. We have a few facts that maybe you would like to include in your greatest aboriginal project.

Firstly, he was adopted by his tribe’s enemy’s chief crowfoot of Blackfoot.
Secondly, he was let out of prison early he was sentenced to 3 years but was only in for 7 months.
Thirdly, when he was adopted he was watched very carefully since he was black foots former enemy but, they later on learned to trust him and he eventually became their chief.
